The game was announced in January 2008 as a 'Multiplayer Online Action RTS' that featured a story mode and a persistent MMO world, and was to be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. In March 2010, the game was rumored to be in development hell, as developer Blueside was in financial trouble. The game resurfaced again in 2013, when it was going to be released in Korea that year.
Unfortunately, the game saw many delays throughout its development, and its release date was pushed back multiple times. A permanent, IP-locked open beta began in Asia on May 22, 2014, promising no character wipes.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 Character Creation
