I was not aware there were three of these movies so I watched this one first. I laughed at how insane and unbelievable the action and acting was. Then I went and watched Bad Ass. Now I really hate this second sequel. Danny Glover is way past his action days as Roger Murtaugh. The fight scenes are painful to watch as neither Danny Trejo or Glover are in any physical condition to pull off these stunts.
The bank fight scene is a prime example. They are so slow in their movements, I could have taken a pee break in the time it took Glover to throw a punch. The plot is silly and I knew the twist almost immediately because it was so poorly disguised. Having now seen Bad Ass and how great it was and how perfect Trejo was for the character, it disappoints me so much that they tried to turn this into some kind of Lethal Weapon for geriatrics. Maybe they should have called it Geritol Weapon. I can't believe the same director did all three. Skip the sequels and just watch Bad Ass.
Its so much superior to this movie. They really screwed the pooch on this one.

I checked those subtitles with TextWrangler and make sure they are UTF-8 and use WebTools to upload them to double confirm the encoding still no use.and I also installed the “SRT2UTF-8”, but still got no luck.(it’s an agent now?

Sorry about that, my mistake. But after converted that sub to UTF8 with Notepad it still doesn’t work.I just tried to add four different movies with 100% correct subs, all of them gave me UnicodeEncodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t encode character u’xe4’ in position 50: ordinal not in range(128). I have also installed the srt2utf8-agent, but that plugin also compains about UnicodeEncodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t encode character u’xe4’ in position 50: ordinal not in range(128).By the way, I have been going through some of the subs that work, and some of the subs that work are actually encoded in ANSI. They give me the usual error in com.plexapp.agents.localmedia.log, but the subs are listed on the page and the video play correctly. When I convert them to UTF8 in Notepad and refresh, they still give me the same error in com.plexapp.agents.localmedia.log even if they now are in UTF8.I tried to remove a movie with ANSI sub that worked (refreshed Plex etc), converted sub to UTF8 with Notepad, added the movie and sub: now sub won’t list.I also have problem with renaming some subs from.srt to.en.srt.
The change wont apply. I tried to remove the srt and refresh everything, but it’s still listed.edit I actually just tried to remove all srt-files from my library and did a full refresh, and the movies that previously listed the subs, still list the subs. In a fun coincidence I checked Alien.
